SCHOOL YEAR 2024/25

Aimed at students who already have technical knowledge in the three areas of Musical Theater and who want to explore more intensely the area of Performance and stage work.

Entry is via audition, where participants must demonstrate the technique acquired so far in Musical Theater classes.

The students will perform at least two presentations on the stage in the Liceu Camões auditorium. The first in December/January, with the adaptation of a musical lasting 45 to 60 minutes. The second presentation will take place at the end of June, with the adaptation of a musical lasting 60 to 75 minutes. The staging, vocal direction and choreography are carried out by JP Costa and Sara Teixeira.

AGE RANGE: 13 to 17 years old

AUDITIONS

Audition dates: 16th, 18th and 23rd September at 5:30 pm.
Attendance on all three days is mandatory.
On September 16th, participants will be divided into small groups and challenged to learn a musical section and a theater scene taught at the time, which they must know by heart and present on the 23rd;
On September 18th, participants will learn a choreography, as well as its spacing, which should join the work already carried out previously;
On September 23rd, participants will present the elements taught, as well as the solo mentioned above.
Students must bring a Musical Theater song prepared, with instrumental support, with a maximum duration of 2 minutes (the song must be cut in advance). Participants can use their cell phone or pen to deliver the musical support.

WEEKLY FREQUENCY: 2 x per week,
