Declaration of prior consent from the holder of personal data and authorization to use images
The General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data (GDPR), applicable since May 25, 2018, establishes rules relating to the protection, processing and free movement of personal data of natural persons, even if they were collected before that date, and which applies directly to all entities that process this data.
Therefore, in order for us to process your personal data, which were provided to us when filling out the school's registration form, we need your consent, which must be free, explicit, unambiguous and informed. Therefore, we need to use your personal data within the scope of the services we provide, namely in contacts by email or telephone with activities taking place during the academic year, activities related to tuition fees, communication of schedule changes and other matters related to the school teaching activity.
As part of our teaching activities, we use Google Classroom and Zoom for online classes whenever necessary. We also use social networks, where teachers can create closed groups with students, this procedure being optional and the responsibility of the teachers.
The personal data provided to EDSAE by its students is intended solely for the exclusive use of the school, and this data may be handed over to Public Services and the judicial authority pursuant to legal provisions. Under the law, customers may request EDSAE to access or rectify their personal data.
EDSAE has an educational model in which student participation in public presentations is part of the curriculum of proposed activities. These events are recorded only for the school's portfolio to be analyzed by teachers, forming part of the school's cultural "heritage".
During these public presentations, which are open to the entire school community, friends and family, image and sound collection is authorized by all participants, and the school cannot be held responsible for the use of these images.
The school asks all legal representatives, parents and family members to take special care, not publishing photographs and/or videos featuring other people related to the school, namely students.
Data retention period - Data is only kept for the period necessary for the purposes for which it is intended and to comply with legal obligations on the part of the school.

We also inform you that, as the holder of your personal data, you have the right to request access to them, to change them, to partially or totally limit their use, as well as to decide on what autonomous treatment you wish to give them and , at the limit, withdraw consent and exercise other legally provided rights.
