Christmas 2024 Holiday Activities - "Inside Out 2"

DATE: 18 to 20 December 2024 (3 days) 

Attention: Children over 8 years old can be included in the 10/15 year old program, the version of the songs will be the original in English

Meals Menu – will be released to parents the week before the activities. All meals are served in the EDSAE space.

 We ask that you let us know if your child has dietary restrictions. If we are unable to satisfy the request, you can bring the food from home, deducting 6 euros per day from the activities price. The school is unable to heat these meals. 

Enrollment

  • All enrollments are made ONLINE

  • You can go to the school office from Monday to Friday from 4:30 pm to 10:30 pm (we are in the Amoreiras Plaza Building on the 2nd Floor) and pay the full price in cash or card;

  • Or you can choose to make the payment via bank transfer, following the procedures below:

Important: To complete the registration process you need to send proof of transfer by email to: secretaria.edsae@gmail.com. 

Attention: Places are limited to 24 students per class, so all registrations are only confirmed upon payment. If you make your payment after all places are filled, EDSAE reserves the right to cancel your registration and refund the amount paid. 

Refunds will only be made in case of cancellation up to 5 days before the activities take place. After this date there will be no refunds. If you have registered and the class in question is unable to take place, we will refund your registration money in full.

Daily Activities Plan

  • 08H30: Opening of the school and reception of students
  • 09H00 - 10H30: Class 1
  • 10H30: Snack 1
  • 11H00 -12H30: Class 2
  • 12H30 -13H15: Lunch
  • 13H150 -14h15: Class 3
  • 14H15-15H15: Class 4
  • 15H15: Snack 2
  • 15H45 -17H00: Class 5 = rehearsal for final presentation
  • 17H00: End of activities

The content of the classes varies according to the activities theme. The activities end at 5pm, but the school only closes at 10:30pm, meaning children can wait for their parents or family members.

FINAL PRESENTATION - On the last day of activities, students will present their Musical performed during the week to their parents and guests. Depending on the number of classes, presentations will be scheduled for the late afternoon between 5pm and 7pm. On the second day of activities we send home the presentation schedule. 

Video recording of the Final presentation (10 euros + VAT) - On the last day of the activities, you can request the recording to be sent by email.

Aditional Information

Clothing- Students must wear comfortable clothing and footwear, in which they can move freely. For dance classes, we advise you to bring sports socks or dance shoes that allow your feet to articulate. For the presentation at the end of the week, students will be asked to bring some simple costumes, according to the characters they play. This information will be released during the activities.

Art, especially at these ages, provides children and adolescents with a healthy and natural way to explore, discover, understand and develop their inner emotional world, working on self-confidence and self-esteem. In the area of ​​Musical Theatre, EDSAE is a pioneer in teaching this modality in Portugal, being a representative of Trinity College in Lisbon and a partner of the IAB in Barcelona.
